Quote of the Week: 12.01.08
The magic is in the man, not the 100 miles.

How Do You Get MAGIC On Your Side?

When one, or a team, makes a greater Commitment to success, Magical things happen. You commit to doing things that others don't. You practice longer than others will. During the game, things will happen in your favor that others will not understand. I once coached a team that had such a commitment. They would even write about it in the newspapers. When things got really tough during a particular game, the reporter would write, "And then it came time for a little North Valley Magic" which turned the final outcome of the game in our favor. Others attribute events to magic or breaks or whatever. They do not know the amount of time, effort and energy that went into the preparation for the game or the season. They do not understand the commitment it takes because they are unwilling to do whatever it takes:
No matter how long it takes . . .
No matter how hard it is . . .
No matter how much it costs . . .
No matter what I personally have to sacrifice . . .
I'll do whatever it takes to achieve the Goal!
